Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how you can cancel an order with Swinton Equipment Depot (Swinton Equipment Depot, ABN 61 826 340 915) and any charges that may apply. Cancelling Before Dispatch
You may request to cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible at sales@equipdepotau.com or +61 480 844 836 with your order number.
If we can stop the order before dispatch, we will cancel it and refund you in full to your original payment method within 10.
Cancellation requests are actioned during business hours; an order may already be in dispatch when your request reaches us.
Cancelling After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled in transit. If you no longer want the goods, our voluntary change-of-mind Returns Policy may apply once you receive them, within 30 of delivery and subject to its conditions.
For change-of-mind cancellations after dispatch of oversized or freight goods, outbound and return freight costs and a restocking fee may be deducted from your refund.
These arrangements do not affect your rights if the goods are faulty, in which case the consumer guarantees apply.
Custom and Made-to-Order Items
Custom-made, made-to-order, cut-to-size and special-order goods cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has begun, because they cannot be resold.
Where such an order can still be cancelled, any costs already incurred (materials, labour, supplier deposits) may be deducted from your refund.
This does not affect your Australian Consumer Law rights if a custom item is faulty or not as described.
Cancellations by Us
We may cancel an order where goods are unavailable, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of our Terms.
If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full to your original payment method within 10.
We will contact you using your order details to explain the cancellation and discuss alternatives where available.
